Sunbird Lodge is a family-run business, emphasising good quality and friendly service.
With more than 2.5 acres of tropical gardens hosting a wide variety of birdlife, it's hard not to relax here. Laze by the swimming pool, sit under one of our shady thatched lapas with a drink from the bar, or take in the gardens at night and gaze at the stars. Let your stress melt away whether you're in Phalaborwa for business or pleasure.

Our accommodation comprises:
- 5 twin/double rooms in the main house, all with private access from the garden
- 2 delightful twin-bedded poolside rooms, which can also take a third bed
- 1 large self-contained cottage that can sleep up to 6 people (with small children)

Meals
All meals are served in our dining room, although you can choose to dine outside for that “al fresco" experience.
Delicious and hearty fully-cooked English breakfast with a choice of cereals, fruit juices, yoghurts, preserves and tea or coffee.
Dinners are a home-cooked set menu. Served between Monday and Thursday, they must be pre-booked.
Daytime snacks and picnic hampers (for those long day trips) are available by prior arrangement.
